A 3-Day course training the student to be a POST certified Instructor for a pistol mounted optic (PMO) on a pistol.

A proficiency test must be passed at the beginning of the course in order to continue. This course provides updated legislative content of Penal Code section 835(a)PC.
The CTT-Solutions PMO Instructor Course is a highly detailed look at the PMO from selection of an optic and integration training to application in the LE environment. It will bring the shooter to a high level of confidence both with their hard skills and their understanding of how to structure and administer training and develop policy. It will also provide foundational drills and concepts that have proven highly successful when shooters are transitioning from iron sights to PMO.
This course does not require that the shooter be an experienced PMO shooter, but it does require that they be an overall experienced and competent shooter. The course is very heavy on repetition and places an extreme premium on correct technique.
The primary intention is to give a foundation of usable knowledge for the creation or refinement of an PMO program at any department course.
